I’m Jaime Black, a Registered Interior Designer based in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada, working with clients across the country and internationally. My work is rooted in the belief that interiors should be as intentional as they are inspiring—spaces that reflect the people who frequent them, with clarity, confidence, and character.
My design journey began in a boutique residential firm in Toronto, where I discovered the quiet power of thoughtful, well-edited spaces. Over the past 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with clients who value quality, individuality, and a refined point of view. Studio Design Lead
Terri Beazley
Terri supports the creative and technical development of projects at Jaime Black + Co., working closely with Jaime throughout the design process. Her role spans design development, 3D visualization, and day-to-day studio support, contributing to the advancement of projects across multiple phases.
With a collaborative approach and strong attention to detail, Terri helps translate design intent into clear, cohesive visual and spatial outcomes. Her thoughtful approach plays an important role in supporting the studio’s creative vision and execution.
Technical Lead
Vilma Ugaban-harris
Vilma is responsible for the technical development and documentation of projects at Jaime Black + Co. A senior interior designer with NCIDQ certification, she leads all CAD production, detailed drawings, and construction documentation, ensuring each project is executed with precision and clarity.
Working closely with Jaime and the design team, Vilma translates creative concepts into fully resolved, buildable drawings. She brings a rigorous, methodical approach to the studio, ensuring every detail is carefully considered and clearly communicated.
